Dr. Lawrence graduated with clinical honors and earned her
O.D. degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Before completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at
Millersville University, she attended Dallastown Area High
School.
Dr. Lawrence worked in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Havre de
Grace and Baltimore, MD while completing her clinical externships.
She became familiar with the treatment of ocular eye disease,
pediatric eye care, and contact lenses during this time.
Upon graduation from optometry school she began working at
Tamarkin Eye Associates. In July of 2004, she purchased Tamarkin
Eye Associates.
Dr. Lawrence and her husband live in York County where they
plan to raise their family. Dr. Lawrence is a member of the
York County Chamber of Commerce, the Central Pennsylvania
Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association,
and the American Optometric Association. She is also avidly
involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
